Android Device Streaming represents new functionality that lets you connect Android Studio to remote Android devices for iterative development and debugging. After you're set up, you can deploy your app to physical Android devices, stream the device's display, and interact with the device—all without leaving Android Studio. When you're done using the device, we securely wipe all your data before making it available to another developer.
This service will first become available to select developers as a preview later in 2023, and you can register today on behalf of you and your team to join the waitlist for entry into the program. If you are accepted into the program, Google will then contact you with instructions on how to get started.
During the preview, you will have access to select Android devices, such as the Pixel Fold and the Pixel Tablet, that you can connect to and use to optimize your app for these devices. You will need to use a Canary version of Android Studio to utilize this functionality.
