Health Connect stores and structures health and fitness data. It also accounts for how different data types, such as heart rate measurements taken immediately or a step count taken over time, are measured.
Health Connect includes a wide variety of data types that are commonly used across most health and fitness apps. Stored data gives users insight into their health, fitness, and wellness.
Each data type is defined by its data format, which includes the following:
- Fields: Any specific or generic fields associated with the data type, such as title, notes, and percentage.
- Attribute: Read-only, required, optional, or validation range.
