Ultimate Guitar の取り組み

Google Play Instant 向けの開発は、UG にとってシンプルでスムーズな体験でした。UG のアプリは React Native の追加ライブラリのために 4 MB の制限要件を超過していましたが、Google Play Instant の 10 MB プログラムに登録することで Instant App を公開できました。また、[今すぐ試す] とウェブバナーは、10 MB 未満の Instant App であればすぐに有効にすることが可能でした。1 週間かけて Instant App の開発とテストを行い、その後リリース トラックで公開しましたが、計画から設計までの全工程を終えるのに 2 週間もかかりませんでした。
結果
[今すぐ試す] を実装してすぐに、アプリを試すユーザー数が増加し、[今すぐ試す] ボタンからアプリを試したユーザーの約 20% がアプリをインストールしました。そのため、開発からわずか 1 週間でインストール数が 8% も増加しました。この良好な結果を受けて、UG は Instant App への投資を継続し、ユーザーデータ トラッキングの強化、ユーザー オンボーディングの改善、収益化の実現に向けて注力してきました。
