共有 ViewModel のレシピ

このレシピでは、カスタム NavEntryDecorator を使用して、Navigation 3 の異なる画面(エントリ)間で ViewModel を共有する方法を示します。

仕組み

この例では、3 つの画面を定義しています。

  • ParentScreen: カウンタをインクリメントするボタンを表示します。カウンタの状態は CounterViewModel に保持されます。
  • ChildScreen: ParentScreen のカウンタ状態と独自の分離状態を更新できるサブスクリーン。
  • StandaloneScreen: 独自の分離された状態のみを持つ独立した画面。

SharedViewModelStoreNavEntryDecorator

このレシピの核となるのは SharedViewModelStoreNavEntryDecorator です。このデコレータは、ナビゲーション エントリの ViewModelStore を管理します。これにより、エントリは、ViewModelStore を共有するオプションの「親」エントリを指定できます。

SharedViewModelActivity.kt では、NavDisplay は次のデコレータで構成されます。

ViewModel を共有する

共有を有効にするには、ChildScreen エントリでメタデータを使用して親を明示的に定義します。

toContentKey() 拡張関数は、親 NavEntrycontentKey の指定方法を標準化するために使用されます。これは、親を定義するときと、子によってメタデータで参照されるときの両方で適用されます。

ChildScreen が親 CounterViewModel をリクエストした場合:

デコレータは、ParentScreenViewModelStore を使用しているため、ParentScreen が使用している同じインスタンスを受け取ります。

ChildScreen は、デフォルトの LocalViewModelStoreOwner から独自の CounterViewModel をリクエストできます。
