このプラットフォームは Android 15 の初回リリースを基盤として修正と改善を重ね、そのたびにサポート対象デバイスにロールアウトが行われます。Quarterly Platform Releases（QPR）から四半期にごとに行われるこれらのリリースは、Feature Drop の一環として、AOSP と Google Pixel デバイスの両方に配信されます。
このアップデートには、アプリに影響する API の変更は含まれていませんが、最新の QPR ベータ版ビルドのイメージを提供し、必要に応じてそのイメージを使ってテストができるようにしています（たとえば、次回搭載される機能がアプリのユーザー エクスペリエンスに影響する可能性がある場合など）。
リリース済みで安定版のプラットフォーム用の OTA イメージについては、Nexus デバイスおよび Google Pixel デバイス用のフル OTA イメージをご覧ください。
Android 15 QPR ベータ版ビルドの OTA アップデートを受け取ったデバイスが、アップデートのインストール後に起動できなくなった場合、OTA イメージを適用するとそのデバイスを復元できます。OTA アップデートに失敗したデバイスを復元するためではなく、ただ Android 15 QPR1 をインストールする場合は、Android 15 QPR ベータ版ビルドを入手するをご覧ください。

ベータ版ビルドを Pixel デバイスにインストールすると、そのデバイスは Pixel 用 Android ベータ プログラムに自動的に登録され、登録を解除するまで最新のベータ版ビルド（QPR を含む）への定期的な無線（OTA）アップデートを受け取ります。また、書き込み可能なイメージがマイルストーンごとに提供されるため、ご使用のテスト環境に最適な方法を選択できます。
