General advisory notices
Be aware of these characteristics about the release:
- This release might have various stability, battery, or performance issues.
- For users with accessibility needs, this release might not be appropriate for daily use.
- Some apps might not function as expected when running on this release. This limitation includes Google's apps as well as other apps.
- Wear OS Developer Preview builds aren't Compatibility Test Suite (CTS)‑approved, but they've passed preliminary testing and provide a stable set of pre-release APIs for developers. Apps that depend on CTS-approved builds or that use the Play Integrity API might not work normally on these builds.

Known issues
The system image that runs the Wear OS 6 Developer Preview has the following known issues:
- You cannot add an account during first-time use of the emulator, when setting up Wear OS.
- The concentric circles shown in the default watch face, representing minutes and seconds, might not rotate about the same point on the watch face and appear off-center.
- When a phone is connected to the Wear OS emulator, the list of apps that support media output switching—accessed from Settings > Apps > Special app access > Change media output—is empty.
