כדי להקל על פיתוח ובדיקה של אפליקציות, אנחנו מספקים תמונות מערכת של Android 12 ששונו עבור מכשירי Pixel האלה, שנקראות תמונות לתמיכה במפתחים. תמונות של תמיכה למפתחים הן תמונות מערכת שמבוססות על גרסאות יציבות וציבוריות של Android 12 (רמת API 31) ועל גרסת התכונות 12L (רמת API 32), שכוללות גם גרסה מעודכנת של טוען האתחול עם תיקוני אבטחה ומונה שמונע חזרה לגרסה קודמת עם ערך מוגדל.
במכשיר Pixel 6 או 6 Pro שפועלת בו Android 13, אפשר לחזור לגרסה קודמת של תמונת תמיכה למפתחים של Android 12, אבל אי אפשר לחזור לגרסה קודמת של תמונות אחרות של Android 12. אפשר להפעיל במכשיר תמונה של תמיכה למפתחים, ואז להפעיל את הגרסה הציבורית העדכנית, אבל אי אפשר להפעיל בו תמונות קודמות של Android 12.
אזהרות כלליות
גרסאות ה-Build של תמיכת המפתחים נועדו לספק חוויית מערכת ואפליקציה שדומה ככל האפשר להתנהגות של Android 12 שפועלת במכשיר של משתמש רגיל. עם זאת, יש כמה דברים שכדאי לזכור כשמשתמשים בגרסאות האלה לפיתוח ולבדיקה:
- גרסאות Developer Support מיועדות למפתחים בלבד ולא מתאימות לשימוש כללי.
- מכשירים שמשתמשים בגרסאות תמיכה למפתחים לא מקבלים עדכוני אבטחה דרך האוויר (OTA) כמו מכשירים אחרים, ותמונות של תמיכה למפתחים לא נבנות מחדש עם תיקוני האבטחה האחרונים. העדכון כולל רק גרסה מעודכנת של תוכנת האתחול, עם תיקוני אבטחה משלה ומונה מוגדל למניעת חזרה לגרסה קודמת.
- גרסאות ה-Build של תמיכת המפתחים לא אושרו על ידי Compatibility Test Suite (CTS), אבל הן עברו בדיקות מקדימות ומספקות למפתחים קבוצה יציבה של ממשקי API. יכול להיות שאפליקציות שתלויות בגרסאות שמאושרות על ידי CTS או שמשתמשות בממשקי API של SafetyNet לא יפעלו כרגיל בגרסאות תמיכה למפתחים של Android 12.

הפעלת Flash במכשיר
אפשר לצרוב ROM (flash) ל-build של Android 12 Developer Support במכשיר באחת מהדרכים הבאות:
הפעלת Flash במכשיר באמצעות Android Flash Tool
בעזרת Android Flash Tool אפשר לשדרג בצורה מאובטחת תמונת מערכת למכשיר Pixel נתמך. Android Flash Tool פועל בכל דפדפן אינטרנט שתומך ב-WebUSB, כמו Chrome או Edge 79 ואילך.
הכלי Android Flash Tool מנחה אתכם בתהליך ההפעלה של המכשיר שלכם שלב אחר שלב – לא צריך להתקין כלים – אבל תצטרכו לבטל את הנעילה של המכשיר ולהפעיל את ניפוי הבאגים ב-USB באפשרויות למפתחים.
מחברים את המכשיר באמצעות USB, עוברים אל Android Flash Tool דרך אחד מהקישורים הבאים ופועלים לפי ההוראות במסך:
- הפעלת Flash של תמונה של תמיכה למפתחים ב-Android 12 (רמת API 31)
- התקנת תמונת תמיכה למפתחים של 12L (רמת API 32)

הפעלה ידנית של Flash במכשיר
אפשר גם להוריד תמונה של תמיכת מפתחים ולשדרג אליה את המכשיר באופן ידני. בטבלה הבאה אפשר להוריד את תמונת המערכת של מכשיר הבדיקה. הפעלה ידנית של Flash במכשיר שימושית אם אתם צריכים שליטה מדויקת בסביבת הבדיקה או אם אתם צריכים להתקין מחדש לעיתים קרובות, למשל כשמבצעים בדיקות אוטומטיות.
אחרי שמגבים את נתוני המכשיר ומורידים את תמונת המערכת התואמת שמופיעה בהמשך, אפשר לשדרג לתמונה במכשיר.
בכל שלב אפשר לחזור לגרסה הציבורית האחרונה.
