Update pada pembatasan antarmuka non-SDK di Android 10

Untuk membantu memastikan stabilitas dan kompatibilitas aplikasi, platform akan mulai membatasi antarmuka non-SDK yang bisa digunakan aplikasi Anda di Android 9 (API level 28). Android 10 menyertakan daftar terbaru antarmuka non-SDK yang dibatasi berdasarkan kolaborasi dengan developer Android dan pengujian internal terbaru. Tujuan kami adalah memastikan bahwa alternatif publik tersedia sebelum kami membatasi antarmuka non-SDK.

Jika Anda nantinya tidak menargetkan Android 10 (API level 29), beberapa perubahan ini mungkin tidak langsung memengaruhi Anda. Namun, selagi bisa menggunakan antarmuka non-SDK yang merupakan bagian dari greylist (tergantung pada level API target aplikasi), penggunaan metode atau kolom non-SDK apa pun akan cukup berisiko merusak aplikasi Anda.

Jika tidak yakin apakah aplikasi Anda menggunakan antarmuka non-SDK atau tidak, Anda bisa menguji aplikasi untuk mencari tahu. Jika aplikasi Anda mengandalkan antarmuka non-SDK, sebaiknya Anda mulai merencanakan migrasi ke alternatif SDK. Namun demikian, kami memahami bahwa beberapa aplikasi memiliki kasus penggunaan yang valid untuk menggunakan antarmuka non-SDK. Jika Anda tidak dapat menemukan alternatif selain menggunakan antarmuka non-SDK untuk fitur dalam aplikasi Anda, sebaiknya mintalah API publik baru.

Perubahan nama untuk daftar lightgrey dan darkgrey

Di Android 9 (API level 28), greylist dibagi menjadi dua daftar berikut:

  • Daftar lightgrey dari antarmuka non-SDK yang dapat digunakan, apa pun level API targetnya.
  • Daftar darkgrey antarmuka non-SDK yang tidak bisa digunakan jika aplikasi menargetkan API level 28 atau yang lebih tinggi.

Dimulai di Android 10, kami sekarang merujuk ke dua daftar ini sebagai greylist, tetapi antarmuka non-SDK dalam greylist yang dibatasi oleh level API target (sebelumnya daftar darkgrey) kini juga dirujuk oleh versi SDK target maksimum tempat antarmuka bisa digunakan.

Contoh

Jika antarmuka non-SDK sebelumnya merupakan bagian dari daftar darkgrey untuk Android 9 (API level 28), antarmuka tersebut sekarang merupakan bagian dari daftar greylist-max-o, dengan “o” adalah singkatan dari Oreo atau Android 8.1 (API level 27). Dalam hal ini, Anda hanya bisa menggunakan antarmuka yang termasuk dalam daftar greylist-max-o jika aplikasi menargetkan Android 8.1 (API level 27) atau yang lebih rendah.

Begitu juga, jika antarmuka non-SDK dalam greylist tidak dibatasi di Android Pie tetapi kini dibatasi di Android 10, antarmuka tersebut merupakan bagian dari daftar greylist-max-p, dengan "p" adalah singkatan dari Pie atau Android 9 (API level 28).

Nama ini akan memberikan analisis selengkapnya tentang level SDK target maksimum yang bisa digunakan API dalam daftar greylist sebelum dibatasi oleh platform.

Anotasi kode untuk antarmuka non-SDK

Selain perubahan nama daftar, banyak antarmuka non-SDK yang sekarang dianotasikan dalam kode menggunakan anotasi berikut.

Karena sejumlah besar antarmuka non-SDK di greylist terbatas untuk Android 8.1 Oreo (API level 27), banyak antarmuka di daftar tersebut yang tidak dianotasikan. Meskipun anotasi baru ini bisa memberikan poin referensi cepat, Anda harus menguji aplikasi jika tidak yakin apakah aplikasi menggunakan antarmuka non-SDK atau tidak.

Mengaktifkan akses ke antarmuka non-SDK di Android 10

Di Android 10, perintah yang bisa Anda gunakan untuk mengaktifkan akses ke antarmuka non-SDK telah berubah. Anda bisa mengaktifkan akses ke antarmuka non-SDK di perangkat pengembangan dengan mengubah kebijakan penegakan API. Untuk melakukannya, gunakan perintah ADB berikut:

    adb shell settings put global hidden_api_policy  1
    

Untuk menyetel ulang kebijakan penegakan API ke setelan default, gunakan perintah berikut:

    adb shell settings delete global hidden_api_policy
    

Perintah ini tidak memerlukan perangkat yang telah di-root.

Anda dapat menyetel bilangan bulat di kebijakan penegakan API ke salah satu nilai berikut:

  • 0: Menonaktifkan semua deteksi antarmuka non-SDK. Setelan ini akan menonaktifkan semua pesan log untuk penggunaan antarmuka non-SDK dan mencegah Anda menguji aplikasi menggunakan API StrictMode. Setelan ini tidak direkomendasikan.
  • 1: Mengaktifkan akses ke semua antarmuka non-SDK, tetapi mencetak pesan log yang berisi peringatan untuk penggunaan antarmuka non-SDK apa pun. Dengan setelan ini, Anda juga dapat menguji aplikasi menggunakan API StrictMode.
  • 2: Melarang penggunaan antarmuka non-SDK yang termasuk dalam blacklist atau greylist terbatas untuk level API target.

Daftar perubahan untuk Android 10

Bagian ini menjelaskan antarmuka non-SDK dari greylist di Android 9 (API level 28) yang saat ini dibatasi di Android 10 (API level 29) atau yang ditambahkan ke Android SDK (daftar yang diberi akses) di Android 10.
