Android 12 にカスタマイズを追加し、テレビ デバイスでの操作性と互換性を改善しました。テレビ向けのハイライトには、メディア再生の改善、ユーザー インターフェース機能の改良、プライバシーとセキュリティの強化などがあります。また、HDMI とチューナーをサポートし、改善するためのより優れた標準を導入します。

Android 12 for TV の新機能の概要は次のとおりです。

  • 更新レートの切り替えを使用して、再生中のモーション ジャダーを回避する
  • ディスプレイ モード、HDR 形式、サラウンド音声形式を報告するための認定 API の精度

始める前に、ADT-3 Developer Kit のシステム イメージをダウンロードしてください。または、Android Emulator for TV を使用することもできます。これにより、背景のぼかしや 4K UI のサポートなど、新しいユーザー インターフェース機能を試すことができます。

ご利用方法

既存の ADT-3 デベロッパー デバイスをお持ちの場合は、Android 12 への OTA が自動的にデバイスに配信されます。または、次の手順で Android 12 をインストールすることもできます。

  1. Android TV 用 ADT-3 Developer Kit を使用します。提供されているシステム イメージは、ADT-3 デベロッパー デバイス専用です。
  2. システム イメージをダウンロードします。
  3. ADT-3 デバイスにシステム イメージをインストールします。

システム イメージを手動でインストールする

最新の Android 12 システム イメージをダウンロードして、手動でテストデバイスに書き込むことができます。デバイスを手動でフラッシュすると、テスト環境を正確に制御できます。これは、コマンドライン ツールを使用して実行できます。

デバイスデータをバックアップしたら、次のいずれかの ADT-3 ビルドをダウンロードし、そのイメージをデバイスに書き込みます。
