Apps Experience Program (AEP) is a program to recognize and reward great app experiences with a new program rate card to drive business growth for your app. Participation in this program is voluntary and apps that choose not to participate will not have a change in benefits they are entitled through other programs.

User expectations and developer needs are always evolving, and the program is designed to evolve with them. User experience guidelines and benefits may be updated over time. To help you maintain your program status, we will provide reasonable notice and detailed documentation before any program updates take effect, ensuring you have sufficient time to implement required changes.
AEP guidelines
To gain access to the AEP program rate card, your app needs to adhere to the AEP guidelines. These guidelines may be updated from time to time as the program evolves. For more information, see AEP guidelines overview.
Program eligibility
To be eligible for the program rate card, you must complete the following steps:
- Identify your app's specific guidelines: Because apps serve different user needs, the specific guidelines you must meet are mapped to your app's use cases.
- Meet and maintain technical guidelines: Your app must successfully implement the applicable technical and quality guidelines.
- Explicitly enroll: You must actively opt into the program. During enrollment, you must submit your app for validation by Google Play. Enrollment dates and further details will be shared soon.
Following your enrollment, Google Play will review and validate that your app meets all required guidelines. The program rate card will be applied per the rollout schedule to eligible transactions occurring after your app successfully passes this validation and receives program approval.
