Newer version of Android Wear updates the visual style and interaction paradigm of notifications making it much easier for users to read and interact with notifications from your app.

Not all features of Wear 1.0 are available in the current version, even though the methods to set them are in the support library class NotificationCompat.Builder. The section below explains how you can design your Wear app notifications to be compatible with the newer version of Android Wear.
