European Commission ruling on Android
The European Commission recently issued a decision regarding Android as part of a competition inquiry. We strongly believe that Android’s business model has created a healthy and open ecosystem, enabling Android developers to innovate, build businesses, and distribute content and services to people worldwide. Sundar has published a blog post that lays out more details of the ruling and Google’s position.
This decision from the European Commission in no way diminishes our commitment to the Android developer community and our users. Our teams have been busy rolling out new tools and features such as Android App Bundle and Google Play Dynamic Delivery, which we recently announced at Google I/O. We will continue to enhance our platform to enable you to innovate and deliver great user experiences.
