Starting January 1, 2026, developers may only use data provided by the Age Signals API to provide age-appropriate experiences in the app receiving the data. Visit the Help Center to learn more. |

Starting January 28, 2026, apps with features that include matchmaking, dating, or real money gambling / games / contests must use Play Console features to block minors, to comply with the new Age-Restricted Content and Functionality policy. If this applies to your apps, you can learn more on Play Academy. |

Sign up for early access to the new Android developer verification in Play Console, which starts soon. We’ll make the verification process seamless and automatically register your existing Play apps using the information you've already provided. If you have apps outside Google Play, you can register them manually in Play Console. |
